Enable distinction between role distribution roles and workflow roles

For administration we would like to differentiate between role distribution roles and workflow roles. Through this we would like to assign the workflow specific roles to a workflow and only activate them in the project if the workflow is used.

Practical use of functionality?

  • easier administration

  • less confusion when assigning users to roles

  • better overview in the roles section of the project for the end users
What is the impact of not doing this?

Overwhelming list of roles for large organization even in small projects (why show 50 roles if this project only contains 5?)

    Hi @Guest ,

    Can this requirement be solved by being able to have project or schema specific roles?

    E.g. If the set of workflow that should be available is defined by schema or sub-schema, is it sufficient to control the available roles by the schema or sub-schema?
