Can the template module be updated to support icons please? Currently we have to create spaces using the template module and then go back in and set all the icons which is time consuming and prone to user error.
Also, if the descriptions could support relative links that would also save us a manual task to update. Currently when setting a relative link on the template module, it gets corrupt when the space is created.
There are other areas of the template module that don't work well such as:
Not being able to paste in an existing folder (with the icon and description already set)
Not being able to edit metadata without first editing the type
Not being able to bulk edit metadata
The template module is a really powerful and useful addition to the CDE and with these improvements it can be used to its full potential.

To me, the template module isn't a finished product. It's almost there but hasn't been updated to cater for newer functionality such as relative links and icons |
