As a project manager I want to prevent new documents from being added but allow multiple placeholders to be fulfilled at once with primary documents and their renditions.
To upload a zip file with both primary files and renditions it is required that a user is given the Add document access right. In some instances it is not desirable for users to have the ability to add documents as the intent is that the supply chain would only be uploading to fulfil placeholders. As such it would be desirable to be able to have a bulk action similar to Add Documents with Renditions to fulfil placeholders and upload renditions in the same format.

Practical use of functionality?
A supply chain user is issued a sheet of placeholders document names, they create their documents and then add them to a zip file with both the primary and rendition files to be uploaded. They do not have the permission to add documents, only to fulfil placeholders. |

What is the impact of not doing this?
To enable a supply chain user to be able to use this bulk action currently they must be granted add document, if they then upload and their is a mismatch in any data then a new file will be added this would be erroneous as the file should be fulfilling a placeholder and duplication would occur. |
Hi Paul, that is correct, if a user is only to fulfill placeholders and not to add documents it is not possible to access the "add documents with renditions" button as it is tied to the permission to add documents.

When add document permissions are available. Add documents with renditions can fulfil existing placeholders.
Presumably, this is just when add document permission is restricted yet users want to be able to still fulfil in bulk?
