Use metadata values specified on a saved search or on a space in KLANG (keyword language) expressions

As a consultant I want to be able to define a saved search that uses values from metadata stored against the Saved Search or the Space it belongs to.

For example, search for all projects tagged against a programme via Space metadata.

This will allow for saved searches to be dependent upon values specified via:

  • API

  • Edit metadata

  • Import metadata

This could reduce the requirement for utility searches and simplify bulk admin of saved searches.

Practical use of functionality?

Create a saved search that returns all projects for a programme.
What is the impact of not doing this?

Without this capability we either have to spend development time writing one-off scripts OR extensive manual configuration is required by User Success.
