Issue senders often have to send out reminders to people to respond before the deadline is reached. Typically they give two week deadlines on Key Issues.
Ideally they would like some way to have these reminders sent out automatically to anyone who hasn't responded x number of days before the deadline is reached so that this isn't a task that the issue senders need to remember to do themselves.
Practical use of functionality?
An Issue is sent to 50 people with a two week deadline to complete comments/responses. After 1 week, 10 people have responded. The issue sender needs to remember to check the issue a week before the deadline and send reminders manually to the 40 people who have not yet responded. Having a way to automated this would save them work. |

Is the sending of reminders something that should be done by issue configuration or automated by BCDE Workflow?
Workflow can send emails today but we could consider enhancing workflow to be able to send BCDE reminders.
